Silent video for a bands gig visuals

A deranged and sadistic steelworker from an undisclosed Eastern European cutlery factory, gathers up a crew of vagabond electronic musicians and politically jaded scientists to galvanize psychedelic analog alchemy to awaken a giant robotic Stacia from a 1971 Hawkwind concert, with horrific consequences.

Andy's-Our Price-Virgin-HMV

Screenprinting again. Imagining the boarded up record stores of yesteryear one day being as antiquated as that Manic Street Preachers song 'Natwest-Barclay-Midlands-Lloyds'.

Paste Up / Climbing up the Walls

Up early this morning wallpapering the St Stephens Underpass for the City Council PASTE UP project.
My take on their chosen theme of mental health issues was to use the lyrics from the 1997 Radiohead tune Climbing up the Walls and create this blocked-out visual hurdle, in my familiar style.

Should be up for a few hours before being urinated/graffitied over, so if you're passing under there take a peek...

Recession C*******s Cards

I have eventually found a use for a pile of sugar paper and gold sticker stars knocking about at the back of my cupboard. 'Coalition Xmas Cards' will be about as lo-tech as the recession will allow. One colour, one gold sticker, one brown envelope. I promise they will be dirt cheap.

PechaKucha #5

I am doing a presentation at PechaKucha #5 at Norwich Cinema City in a couple of weeks time. For those who don't know, PechaKucha (or chit-chat) presentations consist of twenty slides at twenty seconds a slide. Devised in Tokyo in February 2003 (apparently) as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public.
All the details of the other presenters and the like can be found HERE and the PechaKucha website can be found HERE. (Norwich#5 is on the same day as Florence#11 which is nice).

The night is on Sunday 16th September between 8:20 and 10:20pm

MA Degree Show Norwich University College of the Arts

So the show is up. The work handed in. The private view over. The hangover recovered from and the DEGREE PASSED. A couple of shinny new letters to put at the end of my name.

The show is up from the 31st August - 4th September.
